Durston Gear officially landed in Hong Kong - Nothingblue. Durston is a supernova in the tent industry. It was born in 2018 and was designed by Dan Durston. It has won numerous awards for its unique design and is sought after by lightweight users from all over the world. Its footprints can be seen on trails large and small such as the PCT and GDT. Basically, every time a new model is launched, it will be sold out. This time, Nothingblue is fortunate to be a member and be the first to introduce X-Mid Pro 1 / X-Mid Pro 2. X-Mid Pro1/2 are both the lightest DCF versions. The Pro Series tents have all been sold out in the United States, but restocking is imminent. The next batch is expected to arrive in Hong Kong in mid-to-late November, so you can get a Durston before the season starts! Based on the store manager's experience after using it many times, X-Mid Pro 1 can be said to be the most correct, spacious and lightest DCF backpack for one person that I have used so far. If you are planning to Solo Camp or travel abroad and need to pack light, you can choose Pro 1, which is only a little over one pound (10g)!! For two people, you can choose Pro 2, which also weighs only about 100g.

Brief introduction of X-Mid Pro 1 / Pro 2:
The most unique feature of Durston’s X-Mid is its huge internal space. Due to the design of the bottom geometry, it is very light (Pro 1 - 450g / Pro 2 - 515g) but has a huge internal space (Pro 1 - 90" x 32" / Pro 2 90" x 48"), which can accommodate a standard 183cm long sleeping pad with room for a backpack at the head and feet. It is also very wind and rain resistant. In addition to using DCF high-strength waterproof fabric, the four sides of the camp fabric are also extended to block rain. When facing wind and snow, the X-Mid's geometric design can also effectively dissipate wind and bury snow. The X-Mid only needs 4 nails to start, and of course there are additional pull points to put nails in if you want it to be more stable.

One of the most eye-catching features is its vestibule. Both Pro 1 and Pro 2 have double-door designs. Due to their geometric angled design, basically after hanging the doors, the entire front space can be used without obstruction. Of course, you can also use additional branches or hiking poles to prop up the door to make a small canopy, so its vestibule has a lot of practical space. The pack size is only 4.5” x 10”, which is extremely small. Note that the X-Mid Set up requires a pair of hiking poles/1m25 long support.
